Just going by these " highlights " I would have to say that this fight was a draw . Now if you-tube were to show this fight in it's entirety , then I might be persuaded to change my mind . I remember when this fight took place , but admittingly I don't remember who landed the most blows . But again , going by just these specific highlights "alone" l would say this fight was basically a draw .

I fully believe Richard Steele thought he doing the right thing, but man, 3 seconds to go? That's a tough one. Steele said later he didn't know how much time was left and it wouldn't have mattered anyway. I think he made the right call. The fighter didn't even respond to his questions and didn't seem that surprised.

I liked MT, but the boxing rules clearly state that after a knockdown, the fighter has to beat the count and stand "unsupported" on his own two feet and answer any questions from the Ref. After the knockdown, MT beat the count, but used the ropes to support himself and did not answer Referee Richard Steele's questions, "Are you ok? Are you ok?". There was nothing special about this fight where the rules had to be flexed to favor anyone. What is fair, is fair. Many events in sports have been won/lost on the last second of the event.
